Quorum Federal Credit Union Named One of the 2025 Best Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance™ by Fortune Media: for the Third Year in a Row!

Sep 09, 2025

Purchase, NY, September 9, 2025 – Quorum Federal Credit Union, a recognized financial industry pioneer serving members across the U.S., has been named One of the Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance™ by Fortune Media. This is Quorum’s third time on this prestigious list (as well as being previously acknowledged in June by Fortune as a 2025 Best Workplace in New York). Earning a spot means that Quorum is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

The Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance list is based on an analysis of survey responses from over 194,000 employees from Great Place to Work Certified companies in the financial services and insurance industry.

“Being named one of Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services for the third year running is a reflection of our commitment to building a workplace that evolves with our people,” says Jeff Pachter, President and CEO of Quorum Federal Credit Union. “We’re constantly looking ahead—investing in new tools, flexible work models, and learning opportunities that empower our team to grow and adapt in a rapidly changing industry. This recognition validates our belief that innovation starts with culture, and that when we prioritize our employees’ development and well-being, we create lasting impact for our members.”

The Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance List is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its lists using its proprietary Trust Index™ Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 8.4 million employees.

Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In every industry, our research shows that investing in people drives productivity and higher revenues. When trust levels are high in an organization, people don’t fear AI — they embrace it.”

Quorum benefits are continuously evaluated and evolved to remain competitive, the latest being free password management software and LinkedIn Learning licenses for all employees. Other benefits include: a Health & Wellness program which offers employees up to $100 a month to spend on eligible expenses like gym memberships and fitness classes, massage therapy/spa services, and meal kit deliveries; a progressive time-off policy (paid personal time, birthday time, company-observed holiday time, purchase/sell-back program to help employees right-size the amount of time they need for the year, and a Volunteer Time Off policy, allowing all in-office, hybrid and fully remote workers to give back to their community during work hours while still getting paid); tuition reimbursement and a bonus/commission plan that reward all for contributing to the company’s success (in addition to a year-end gift card to each employee), a flexible work schedule (including a hybrid work model and four-day work-week), a 401k plan (with company match dollar for dollar up to 6 percent), a Health Reimbursement Account that assists employees with costs associated with the company’s medical plan, reimbursing  deductibles, and sizable employee discounts (including mortgage discounts).

In addition to top benefits, virtual teambuilding events are prioritized. In 2025, the Credit Union kicked off a 30-Day “Q Fit” Challenge, a cardio-focused adventure designed for all employees at all fitness levels, and continued its popular NFL knockout pool, in which the winner can choose from a variety of prizes, and a donation is made to a youth-based organization.
